• “That would have been a dream match for me” – Kenny Omega On Retired WWF Legend

During a recent interview with Adam’s Apple, AEW World Champion Kenny Omega was asked who he wishes he could’ve wrestled, and he chose WWF Legend Kurt Angle.

Here’s what Omega said about the retired WWE Hall Of Famer:

“I felt like I just missed out on maybe wrestling Kurt Angle, and that would have been a dream match for me.

He’s a guy that I consider probably one of the best of all time. Especially for what I try to do in the ring and I try to bring in athletics and real sports.

He was a jack of all trades and there won’t be anyone like him ever again, I don’t think.”

After reading this, Angle wrote the following on Facebook:

“Would have been a classic @kennyomegamanx !!! Thank you. Much respect!!!”

Angle recently noted that Tony Khan gave him a 7-match deal to join AEW, but he turned it down due to health issues.

His final match took place at WrestleMania 35 in April 2019, where he lost to Baron Corbin.
