Mid-South Wrestling is a former Professional Wrestling Promotion, that was based in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
The company was founded in 1950, then named Tr-State Wrestling, but got renamed Mid-South Wrestling in 1979.
They went national in March 1986 and relaunched as UWF Universal Wrestling Federation.
The promoter was “Cowboy” Bill Watts, who sold the promotion to NWA Jim Crockett Promotions in April 1987.
