5. CWA / USWA Memphis Wrestling

The CWA Continental Wrestling Association, later called USWA United States Wrestling Association is a former Professional Wrestling Promotion, that was based in Memphis, Tennessee.

It started in 1977 as CWA, got renamed USWA in 1989 and went out of business in November 1997.

The promoters were Jerry Jarrett and Jerry “The King” Lawler.
