• “The fans are so hungry for something like that because you simply cannot find them anymore” – Jim Cornette On Bron Breakker’s Character

On a recent episode of his weekly ‘Jim Cornette Experience’ podcast, Old School NWA/WWF Manager Jim Cornette praised NXT 2.0 Main Eventer Bron Breakker, the son of NWA/WCW/WWF Legend Rick Steiner and nephew of ‘Big Poppa Pump’ Scott Steiner.

Here’s what Cornette said:

“I have to be honest with you. The only way they can screw it up is if they run him out of the wrestling business and he has no desire to do it because he is miserable.

Breakker is close to being bulletproof because he has seen his dad and obviously worked out with his dad or his uncle, or both, because he did not just learn all this in a training class. He is one of those people that have natural charisma and is going to make people react and respond.

The promos he is doing already and the attitude he possesses, it is a throwback in terms of ‘yeah I’m a f**king meathead, I wanna stretch you.’ The fans are so hungry for something like that because you simply cannot find them anymore.”

Breakker was originally called ‘Rex Steiner’, but his name was changed at the last minute before his debut, in what literally no one (apart from those in WWE who changed his name) felt to be a good idea.
