5. WWF WrestleMania VII
On March 24, 1991 at WWF WrestleMania VII, The Ultimate Warrior defeated “The Macho Man” Randy Savage in a Retirement (Career vs Career) match.
This is the second of 2 matches on our list, that Savage had lost, but the actual match – as great as it certainly was – wasn’t the real highlight for the Macho Man, because that came after the match.
His own manager Sensational Sherri turned on him after the match and attacked a still exhausted Savage, but then out of nowhere Miss Elizabeth, who had been Savage’s manager from 1985 till early 1989, came into the ring and made the save.
Such a great storyline and certainly one of the greatest WrestleMania Moments of all time!
