The single greatest moment in the long and illustrious career of “The Macho Man” Randy Savage came on March 27, 1988 at WWF WrestleMania IV, when he competed in the Tournament for the vacated WWF World Heavyweight Championship.
The Macho Man defeated not just 1, not 2, not 3, but 4 (!!!) World Wrestling Federation Superstars, in order to become the brandnew WWF World Heavyweight Champion, and certainly the man of the night.
