The legendary WWF Attitude Era storyline-feud of ‘The Rock Vs. Stone Cold Steve Austin’ was featured on a recent episode of A&E’s newest WWE-themed show ‘WWE Rivals’ (which they air in addition to their main show ‘WWE Biographies’).

Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, who’s currently the #1 actor in Hollywood, took to Twitter and commented on their epic 1997-2003 rivalry by tweeting the following:

“There’ll never be another time like this in pro wrestling. Wrestling industry was on FIRE + with a PPV biz model – @steveaustinBSR and I approached every main event with a ‘if we don’t draw PPVs, then we don’t f*ckin’ eat’ attitude.

Fans felt that hunger and passion.

SCSA = GOAT”

The Rock wrestled Stone Cold Steve Austin on many occasions, including high-profile singles matches at WWF In Your House 10: D-Generation X, WWF WrestleMania XV, WWF Backlash 1999, WWF WrestleMania X-Seven, WWF Rebellion 2001 and WWE WrestleMania XIX.
