• “The rumor is that I kicked Brock Lesnar’s a$$. Not true” – WWF Legend

Kurt Angle and Brock Lesnar had a grappling contest before one of their matches in 2003.

Rumor has it that Angle beat Lesnar up, but that’s not true.

During an interview on the “Two Man Power Trip of Wrestling” podcast, Angle revealed that while he had the upper hand in the contest, he did not “beat up” The Beast.

Below is what the Olympic Gold Medalist said:

“I walked up behind Brock and tapped him on the shoulder. I said, ‘It’s time to go.’ We went and, you know what, the rumor is that I kicked his a$$. Not true.

It was a really close match. I took him down a couple of times. He didn’t take me down at all, but it was a pretty tight match. Who won? Kurt Angle!”
