Obviously, you wanna treat your fanbase right, but people really, really assume and take a lot for granted…like ‘I’m your fan’ and I get that and that’s why I show up to the towns that I’m booked and I work my tail off for ya. That’s my obligation. I give it everything I have, at this point, however much I got left I give it to ya.
This is a bonus. If you’re lucky enough to come across me and I’m up, I’ll sign it…just give me a little bit of respect. I hate, and I hate to use that word…hate, I hate, I used that word twice…but people that will do the old take the camera out, try to…a little sneak peak, right?
Those guys are afraid to come up to, so they’ll try to video you and then somebody else will come up to me and say ‘hey, can I have an autograph?’ I’d say ‘absolutely’ and then the person that was trying to be sneaky would be like ‘oh, he’s okay…now I’m gonna go up to him’. I’m like wait a minute, what about the 10 pictures you just took a minute ago?
ED YOUNG: Have you ever met anybody who tried to fight you?
UNDERTAKER: I have people ask me all the time: ‘Hey, will you Chokeslam me?’ Like, I’m saying ‘you really don’t…it’s a nice flight, but the landing is rough’.
ED YOUNG: You’re Jiu-Jitsu…Here’s what people don’t know about guys like this. This guy, obviously, one of the top two or three of all time, but…my brother is a lot into the MMA stuff. He goes ‘A professional wrestler, I don’t care who you are, how big you are, how bad you are, how tough they are…5 seconds in and they are done’. But with a guy like him (The Undertaker), he’d never do it. You put your hand on him, GAME OVER. He knows it (on Taker having MMA skills).
UNDERTAKER: (Laughs) Please don’t test that.
