In the main event of WWE SummerSlam last week, Roman Reigns defeated Jey Uso to retain the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship in a Tribal Combat match after Jimmy Uso returned to turn on Jey.

On this week’s SmackDown, Jey took out Reigns, Jimmy and Solo Sikoa and then quit WWE.

We reported earlier today that Jey has now been moved to WWE’s alumni section (tap here to see the photo).

Speaking on his podcast, WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle discussed the latest developments in The Bloodline storyline and said that even though he enjoys the storyline, he thinks WWE is just making stuff up for it now.

He also said that Paul Heyman is wrong for saying that the storyline is in the bottom of the third inning right now.

Below is what the former WWF Champion said:

“The storyline is great, I love it, but I think Heyman was full of sh*t. I think they’re in the eighth inning, and they’re stressed.

They’re making sh*t up now. That’s what I believe. Paul Heyman, I know him, and I know that he’s probably going crazy right now, ‘What do we do next?'”

After Reigns defeated Cody Rhodes in the main event of WrestleMania 39 – Night 2 earlier this year, Angle had expressed concerns about fans possibly losing interest in the storyline due to Reigns beating every legitimate opponent in WWE.

However, the Wrestling Observer reported that WWE Officials believe they made the right decision by booking Roman to defeat Cody because the viewership for SmackDown has increased after WrestleMania.
