• “Things are not as bad” – Tony Schiavone On Reports Of Backstage Tension In AEW

There are multiple reports going on that AEW wrestlers are frustrated with the backstage issues in the company and how the roster got divided over the CM Punk – Hangman Page issue.

AEW Commentator / Interviewer Tony Schiavone recently got promoted to a new role in All Elite Wrestling: Senior Producer, Special Advisor & Talent Relations.

During his What Happened When podcast, Schiavone had the following to say about the reports of backstage tension in Tony Khan’s company:

“There are some challenges, as you know, and of course the internet is going crazy about this or that.

I’m not going to get into it because…I’m going to say this right now, things are not as bad as bullsh*t people on the internet would say. Not even close to it.

We’ve got some things in place now that I think are going to make us better than ever.”
