Memphis Wrestling Hall of Famer Tommy Gilbert passed away at the age of 75. He was the father of former USWA Heavyweight Champion & former ECW Tag Team Champion “Hot Stuff” Eddie Gilbert (who passed away in 1995 due to a heart attack).
Doug Gilbert (Tommy’s other son) had the following to say about his father’s passing:
“Earlier this morning, my dad Tommy Gilbert left us and is now home in heaven with Eddie. Prayers during this difficult time are appreciated.”
