Former WCW Commentator Mark Madden has left Ric Flair’s Wooooo Nation Uncensored podcast.

Mark & Ric then had a not-so-pleasant exchange on Twitter. You can read it below:

Madden: I am leaving the @FlairUncensored podcast effective immediately. It’s not a good fit for me, especially scheduling the prep & taping during my jam-packed work week. Thx to @RicFlairNatrBoy & @PodHeat for the opportunity & for understanding.

Flair: Love & Appreciate You @MarkMaddenX, But Actually, I Relieved You Of Your Duties! Best Of Luck With Your Work! I’ll Be Back & Better Than Ever Next Monday! Going Home To My Son In Law @HeyHeyItsConrad!

Madden: Ok. That’s true. And now, soon, I can tell the whole real story. Like how we lost the deal with Podcast One. Love & appreciate you, too, but hey…as long as we’re telling the truth. Truth is always good, right? Watch this space.

And BTW, you didn’t have the balls to tell me you were firing me. You said the podcast was cancelled, period. Your son-in-law had to tell me the truth. Why couldn’t you just let it go? Why couldn’t you just be a friend after 35 years?

Flair: Mark, It’s So Sad. You’ve Been Telling Everyone For 30 Years That I’m The Greatest Wrestler Ever. Quit Trying To Get The Rub That Made You Who You Are! Look Forward To Hearing You On The @PatMcAfeeShow, Oh Wait, Sorry, He Cancelled You Too! Just Be Happy & Enjoy Life!

Madden: Have another drink. God gave you the gift of life a few years back, & you thank him by getting ***t-faced every single night like you are right now. You are the greatest wrestler ever. What you’ve become is sad. Have another drink. You’ll feel better.

Listen…I am so sorry it came to this. But I’m not the reason it came to this. I took the high road & he just couldn’t do that. He lied to me, then embarrassed me. ***k that. I don’t give a ***k who he is.

I’ve got 5 DMs from wrestlers using words like “petty” and “pathetic.” And not in reference to me.

I still love @MsCharlotteWWE & will always root for her. I have much respect for @HeyHeyItsConrad. But this has nothing to do with them.

He was never my friend. He actually said that tonight in a phone msg.

A fan tweeted the following about Flair’s podcast:

“I was a listener until Ric said he wouldn’t work for Khan because of ‘his loyalty to Vince’. If he wasn’t so toxic after the Plane Ride from Hell stuff came out about him, he’d have been on the next flight to Jacksonville. There’s not a sports team he won’t rep if price is right.”

Madden then revealed that the reason Flair didn’t join AEW is because Tony Khan canceled those plans after the backlash Flair received for what happened on the Plane Ride From Hell in 2002 (which was covered on Dark Side Of The Ring):

“Ric was planning to work at AEW ‘til the Dark Side ep. Not sure what Tony Khan thought. Khan doesn’t talk to Ric now. Disinvited Ric from his b’day party.”

Does this mean Tony has banned Ric from All Elite Wrestling, just like he did Hulk Hogan (who wasn’t even looking to join the promotion)?
