• Tony Khan Responds To A Fan Saying He Paid Money To Mainstream Media Outlets To Write Good Things About AEW

Forbes wrote an article about AEW earlier this year, where they called AEW President Tony Khan the next “Lord Of The Ring”. That article received a lot of attention.

A fan thinks Tony is paying money to a lot of mainstream media outlets to write good things about All Elite Wrestling.

Here’s what a fan tweeted:

“What a f**king embarrassing human being paying journalists to write articles about AEW being a competitor to WWE, is it a coincidence in the last few weeks, the Washington post, Variety, Business Insider, Forbes and many more mainstream websites all have the same headlines? Lol.”

Tony replied the following:

“You have totally busted me Andrew09123, clearly I must have paid off Washington Post, Variety, Business Insider, + Forbes to talk about how AEW is a great wrestling company bringing competition to the wrestling business. Or maybe they all saw what’s happening & saw a good story?”
