Top 10 Old School Gems You Must Relive on the WWE Network

Hulk Hogan, Stone Cold Steve Austin & Ric Flair

9. Shawn Michaels vs. Bret Hart

As different as chalk and cheese, Shawn Michaels and Bret Hart were two complete and polar opposites.

A real-life rivalry that played out on the screen, Michaels and Hart changed the wrestling business in many ways. Some fans thoroughly believe had the two been able to put their differences aside and co-exist in the WWE, WCW may still be around to this day. The documentary features the two sitting side-by-side discussing their careers and battles both in the ring and behind the scenes. While some smart fans might not feel they learned anything they didn’t already know, I’d still recommend it to anybody who purchased the Network.

8. St. Valentines Day Massacre
Come Valentines Day 1999 rolled around, the rivalry between “Stone Cold” Steve Austin and Vince McMahon had put WWE comfortably ahead of WCW in the Monday Night Wars. With a quality undercard featuring excellent performances from Triple H and X-Pac and a burtal WWE Champsionship Last Man Standing match between The Rock and Mankind, all eyes were focused on the long awaited showdown between Austin and The Boss.

Throughout the match the Texas Rattlesnake punished McMahon, systematically picking apart the Chairman of the Board. Austin appeared poised to walk out of the cage victorious until the debut of the 7 foot tall Big Show, inadvertently helping Austin to a victory by sending him crashing through the cage.
