Top 10 Old School Gems You Must Relive on the WWE Network

Hulk Hogan, Stone Cold Steve Austin & Ric Flair

7. Starrcade ’86-Night of the Sky Walkers

Perhaps one of my favourite pay-per-views of all time. 1986 was in the middle of a transition period for the National Wrestling Alliance.

Wrestling was slowly evolving into the global phenomenon it would become in the 1990s with the card reflecting that change. Mixed in with the likes of The Road Warriors and Big Bubba Rogers (later known as the Big Boss Man) who would all become stars in WCW and later on in WWF, the card also featured stars from the 1960s and 70s, the likes of Baron Von Raschke and Don Kernodle.

6. Royal Rumble 1992
Despite watching the pay-per-view countless amounts of time, I never get sick of it. Living legend and NWA/WCW stalwart “The Nature Boy” Ric Flair wins his first of a recond 16 WWF World Heavyweight titles after spending almost an hour in the ring. Aside from Flairs incredible performance, the match also sees Gorilla Monsoon and Bobby “the Brain” Heenan at peak form on commentary. Which many regard as Heenans definitive moment on commentary.
