8. “The Instant Classic” Christian Cage
“Captain Charisma” Christian was the first Old School Wrestler, who refused to sign an extension to his WWE contract, in order to jump ship to TNA, as happened in November of 2005. Debuting as a Babyface at the TNA Genesis 2005 PPV, he would end up staying with the company for 3 years until his TNA contract ended in November of 2008 and Christian would return to WWE a few months later in February of 2009. Christian Cage is a former 2 Time NWA World Heavyweight Champion in TNA.
7. “Big Poppa Pump” Scott Steiner
Once considered a Tag Team Specialist, it was during WCW’ final years (2000 & 2001), when Scott Steiner became a major monster heel & World Champion. After a not very memorable WWE stint in 2002-2004, he debuted for the Total Nonstop Action promotion at the TNA Destination X 2006 PPV, attacking Sting after the Main Event, thus making a great Impact (what a wordplay haha) right away.
In the upcoming years, Big Poppa Pump never lived up to reach his past WCW success, as he couldn’t win the NWA nor the TNA World Title, despite challenging for them quite a few times.
Most noticeable Steiner has been a member of the Main Event Mafia stable, aswell as a member of the Immortal Stable, before parting ways with TNA in late 2011. Scott Steiner is currently listed on the official Roster of TNA’s new partner company GFW Global Force Wrestling.
