4. “The King of the Mountain” Jeff Jarrett
It was Double J himself, along with his father Jerry Jarrett, who originally founded TNA in the Summer of 2002, but later had to sell the company to Dixie Carter’s father Robert Carter, due to financial problems, although Jeff remained a minority owner.
He has been the #1 Top Heel in TNA from 2002 until 2006 and has wrestled on TNA TV & TNA PPV for almost 10 years, from mid 2002 til late 2011, before re-signing from the company in late 2013, only to return in June of 2015 to promote his newly founded GFW Global Force Wrestling Promotion and start some sort of co-operation between the 2 companies. Jeff Jarrett is a former 6 Time NWA World Heavyweight Champion in TNA.
3. “The Immortal” Hulk Hogan
By far the biggest Name in Professional Wrestling History, Hulk Hogan brought major media attention to the promotion, like no one else before (and certainly not after) him.
In late 2009 every news channel reported about him joining TNA: CNN, NBC, FOX, ESPN, … and that was, still 2 months before he even debuted on TNA TV on January 4th 2010. While the Hulkster has only wrestled 5 matches (2 of them on Houseshows in the UK) during his TNA career, he still legitimized the company by just being there in a non-wrestling role.
Hulk Hogan quit TNA during the October 3rd, 2013 Episode of TNA iMPACT Wrestling, which was done to write him off TV, as his contract had been expiring.
