3. “Skinner” Steve Keirn
In 1993, there used to be more than 1 Doink.
It all started when a second Doink (Steve Keirn) would appear at WWF WrestleMania IX to help the Original Doink, beating his archnemesis Crush in a Grudge Match. Crush was literally seeing Double during the finish of the match.
Keirn ended up playing the 2nd identical Doink quite a few more times on weekly WWF TV, mostly hiding underneath the ring untill it was time to switch roles and help the Original Doink defeat his Opponent.
After leaving the World Wrestling Federation, he would also wrestle as Doink The Clown on a tour through Europe, most notably for Otto Wanz’s Catch Wrestling Association (CWA) and the short lived World Wrestlings Superstars (WWS) Promotion.
