– In the main event of tonight’s AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam, ROH Tag Team Champion MJF will defend the AEW World Championship against ROH TV Champion Samoa Joe.
While promoting this match, MJF revealed that he’s injured. Below is what he wrote yesterday:
“Tomorrow I go to war against a first ballot Hall of Famer. One of the greatest big men in the history of our sport. A man as intelligent as he is deadly.
Beating Samoa Joe at 100% is nearly impossible. Tomorrow I’ll be wrestling injured. But I won’t be in there alone. I’ll be wrestling for the AEW fans. I’ll be wrestling for my fellow New Yorkers. I’ll be wrestling for my brother Adam. I’ll be wrestling to defend the grandest prize of em all, The Triple B.
Most of all I’ll be wrestling for this kid with a dream who promised himself he was done being pushed around.”
– Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley often interferes in Judgment Day’s matches and attacks male WWE wrestlers.
The male WWE wrestlers don’t get physical with Rhea, but there’s one male wrestler that doesn’t shy away from laying out women if he needs to – Randy Orton.
During an interview with SK Wrestling, Rhea teased a feud with The Legend Killer:
“There’s one more person that everyone keeps throwing at me, and that’s Randy Orton. They want Randy to come back so that I could get RKO’d because I keep sticking my business in the men’s business.
‘Rhea Ripley keeps hitting the men. They can’t hit her back’. They can hit me back. They just choose not to. You know why? Because they know their place, they know their role, and they know Mami’s always on top.”
