4. Wrestling Events Could Return To California From June
California Governor Gavin Newsom revealed during a press conference on Monday that the state will be welcoming back sports, if they’re able to maintain the number of COVID-19 cases.
Below is what he said:
“Pro sports in that first week or so of June without spectators and modifications and very prescriptive conditions also can begin to move forward…if we hold these trend lines in the next number of weeks.”
California just announced pro sports without fans can begin in the first week of June. Welp, that was a quick reversal. Good news. LFG! pic.twitter.com/ZUIS2Y6ak7

So there’s a possibility that WWE and AEW could return to California starting next month. Although there won’t be any fans, the arenas will still reopen for sports.
NJPW is also planning on doing shows at the LA Dojo this summer.
Good news for promotions wanting to stream no fan wrestling shows. I know New Japan is planning on doing shows at the LA Dojo this summer. https://t.co/un6M6WN3hp
