1. WWE Wants Current Champion To Be Unique
Since winning the NXT Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 36 last month, Charlotte Flair has been all over WWE. She’s working RAW, SmackDown and NXT.
During RAW last week, The Queen mentioning that she was on all 3 brands was probably a shoot, as The Wrestling Observer reports. WWE wants her to be a big star, and she’s basically a tweener:
“She’s just supposed to be a star. She’s not a babyface and she’s not a heel.”
As Flair is officially a part of NXT currently, it could mean that the 4 appearances on another brand per year clause of the Brand Invitation rule may not apply on her.
Speaking of Flair, she’ll defend the NXT Women’s Championship against Rhea Ripley and Io Shirai in a Triple Threat Match next month at NXT TakeOver: In Your House.
