• Old School WWF Referee Celebrates His Birthday
Old School WWF Referee Bill Alfonso (Real name: William Sierra) turns 61 today.
After working as a referee for the World Wrestling Federation during the early 90s, Bill Alfonso joined Paul Heyman’s ECW Extreme Championship Wrestling promotion in 1995 and soon became a manager, managing the likes of Taz, Sabu & “RVD” Rob Van Dam.

• Top SmackDown Star Open To Becoming A ‘Paul Heyman Guy’
During a recent interview with Planeta Wrestling, top SmackDown Live star Samoa Joe hinted that he’s open to becoming a ‘Paul Heyman Guy’.
Below is what Joe said about Universal Champion Brock Lesnar assaulting Heyman on RAW last week:
“What I believe is that Brock Lesnar won the championship and did not know that he would also have to face the character of Kurt Angle and now it is Paul Heyman who has to deal with that situation. It’s Raw’s fault. What happened to him happened to him because there are no big competitors in the brand that can overshadow him. If I had been on Raw I would have given him his own medicine.
Paul already had his opportunity to cross that line and he missed his opportunity. Paul and I are businessmen and if circumstances change again and we reach a mutual understanding… we’ll see what happens in the future.”
