4. Dustin Poirier Has Heard Of John Cena, But Not Roman Reigns
Dustin Poirier has a Mixed-Martial-Arts record of 28 wins, 6 losses and 1 no-contest, but is most famous for his 3 fights against UFC Legend Conor McGregor.
Dustin lost to Conor via TKO at UFC 178 in 2014, but actually ended up defeating “The Notorious One” twice in 2021 (UFC 257 & UFC 264), both times via TKO.
In an interview with The MMA Hour, Poirier was asked if he watches WWE and knows who Universal Champion Roman Reigns is.
Here’s what he replied:
“No, I do not. I don’t, man, I don’t. Guilty.”
When asked about John Cena, he said:
“I know that name, I know that name.”
Seems like Dustin Poirier isn’t much of a pro-wrestling fan after all, but has heard of Cena’s name because he’s mainstream star due to his Hollywood status.
