3. All Negotiations Regarding WWE Purchasing ROH “Are Considered Dead”

We noted about a month back that WWE was in talks with Sinclair Broadcasting (parent company of Ring of Honor Wrestling) to purchase ROH.

The motive of this was to put the ROH video library on the WWE Network and shut down the promotion (and put an end to one of their competitors).

Wrestling Observer is now reporting that all negotiations regarding WWE purchasing ROH “are considered dead”. However, talks of old ROH footage being used on the WWE Network are still on.
