• Triple H Warned Karl Anderson & Luke Gallows That AEW Might Not Last
Former WWE RAW Tag Team Champions Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson detailed their negotiations with Triple H when their WWE contracts were about to expire.
Below are the highlights:
“When Triple H is telling you, ‘I want this to be the deal that sets you up for the rest of your life.’ And you’re going, ‘F*ck, man. We’re gonna make a few million dollars over a few years here, it’s a hard thing to dance around.”
“[Triple H said], ‘I look at you and I see your kids, and what if AEW doesn’t last? I promise you WWE will always be here’.”
The Good Brothers were set to have a meeting with Tony Khan last year, but before that, they were scheduled to team up with Triple H at a live event in Japan.
At the show, Triple H pulled them into his private dressing room and asked them what would it take for them to stay. They said that those could be the last deals they would sign, so they needed security for their futures.
After their match, Triple H offered them a deal they couldn’t refuse.
