WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio was in attendance for last night’s UFC 290 PPV at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

He was there to support Mexican fighters Brandon Moreno and Yair Rodríguez. Unfortunately, both of them lost.

Moreno lost the UFC Flyweight (125 lbs) Championship to Alexandre Pantoja via Split Decision in a 5 round bout (tap here to see AEW star Tay Melo’s shocking reaction to this).

On the other hand, Rodríguez (who was the Interim UFC Featherweight Champion) lost to UFC Featherweight (145 lbs) Champion Alexander Volkanovski via TKO in Round 3.

When Mysterio was shown on the screen, his name was misspelled as “Ray Mysterio” on the graphic.

At least he got a big pop from the crowd, and it was a bigger pop than what other UFC fighters & legends, and Celebrities & Sports Personalities got when they were shown on the screen.

Former US President & WWE Hall of Famer Donald Trump was seated cageside with UFC President Dana White at this event.

WWE Superstars appearing at UFC pay-per-views is slowly becoming a regular thing, and one can expect the crossovers to happen even more when Endeavor (owner of UFC) completes the WWE sale later this year.
