On this day in Pro Wrestling history in 1998, the WWF Hardcore Title was introduced during an episode of WWF Raw Is War.
Mankind became the inaugural Champion as Mr. McMahon awarded the Title to him.
Mankind would lose the Title after one month to Big Boss Man and that was the only Hardcore Title reign that the “Hardcore Legend” had.
