• “Undertaker threw it in the garbage” – WCW Veteran Tells DDP Match-Script Story

After WCW was sold to Vince McMahon in March 2001, DDP / Diamond Dallas Page joined the World Wrestling Federation and wrestled for them until he (temporarily) retired from professional wrestling in 2002.

During a new episode of the ‘Keepin’ It 100’ podcast, WCW Veteran Disco Inferno revealed that back in the WWF, DDP once ignored an advice from Triple H, which got him in trouble with none other than The Undertaker.

Here’s what Disco said about DDP:

“He went to WWE and he was going to be wrestling with Taker and [DDP] had the match like written out on paper. [Triple H] told him, ‘do not show that to Taker,’ showed it to Taker anyway.

And the famous story is Taker saw it, crumbled it up, and threw it in the garbage. Because like, these old school guys weren’t like wanted their match written down top to bottom, you know, and Page didn’t get that.”

Dallas continued to appear on WWE TV every now and then over the years and was eventually inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame on March 31st 2017.
