6. Former ROH Champion Coming To NXT Soon, Triple H Wants To Sign Kenny Omega

Former Ring of Honor Champion Roderick Strong is expected to start with NXT soon, possibly in early September. Strong signing with NXT is a Triple H move as he wants to sign as many ROH wrestlers to NXT as possible.

The reason behind more and more talent being signed to NXT is because of the fact that almost all the top stars of NXT will be on the main roster by early 2017.

Below is what current ROH Champion Jay Lethal said about Strong during his appearance on Jim Ross’ podcast:

“Roderick Strong to be honest, the best way I can describe him is one of the most finely tuned athletes that I’ve ever been in the ring with. It’s almost like he’s unreal; he’s a machine. That guy can go.” …. “We’re sad to lose him, but of course we’re happy to see him go on to bigger heights and new adventures.”

Word is that Triple H wants to sign NJPW star Kenny Omega to a NXT contract. New Japan Pro Wrestling officials are also aware of the interest from WWE. WWE looks like to sign him sometime in mid-2017.

5. Lillian Garcia Talks About Finding Out She Can’t Get Pregnant on the Same Day Candice Michelle Got Pregnant, Will She Return To WWE?

During a recent appearance on The Tomorrow Show, Lillian Garcia talked about leaving WWE due to her father being sick, her future & more. Below are the highlights:

On finding out she couldn’t get pregnant the same day Candice Michelle got pregnant:

“The day that I found out that I couldn’t have a child was the day that Candice Michelle called me to tell me she was pregnant… She’s like ‘I got some great news!’ and she tells me she’s pregnant. I literally hold the phone like this and just tears streaming down my face. I couldn’t tell her that I couldn’t have a child. No way would I ruin her moment…I don’t think I’ve ever even told her. So she might hear about this. And we’ve stayed close since but I never wanted to ruin that moment for her.”

On if she will ever return to WWE:

“I have a love and a passion for WWE. And I received such beautiful e-mails from Vince, from Stephanie, from Triple H and just saying the door’s always open… we’ve all had such a great relationship over the years. If they were to call me to do something special…totally. I’d be all over it. It’s just a place that has really been good to me, and has been a wild ride.”
