4. Triple H Not A Fan of Alberto Del Rio, Will Del Rio Leave In October?
Word is that Alberto Del Rio is not happy with his current WWE booking and he might be thinking about leaving in October when his contract expires.
Del Rio was signed to a WWE deal last October under the word that he will get a main event push, which hasn’t happened till now and most probably won’t be happening. Reports suggest that Vince McMahon wanted to push Del Rio in the Draft but Triple H didn’t agree with the idea and Triple H got his way.
Del Rio is also unhappy about the fact that Paige, who he’s dating, has been drafted to Raw & he’s on SmackDown Live. In an update to his status, Del Rio is still expected to leave WWE in the coming months.
Expect to see him in AAA or Lucha Underground. Word is that Del Rio’s departure also has to do with the fact that Triple H doesn’t want him to do good in WWE.
Del Rio faced Randy Orton on this week’s episode of SmackDown Live and it should be noted that Del Rio didn’t take a clean loss to Orton (who’s being booked to look strong ahead of his match with Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam 2016). Del Rio hit Orton with a Steel Chair to lose via DQ, and then later ate an RKO.
