11. Two Raw Title Changes Happening Soon, WWE Star Being Written Off WWE TV

Wrestling Observer’s Dave Meltzer noted that WWE is planning to write current Raw Tag Team Champion Sheamus off WWE programming soon. The reason for this is that Sheamus has a role in the upcoming movie “Buddy Games” and the shooting for this movie will take place in August. Sheamus is expected to be out of action for about 6 weeks.

This would most probably mean that the team of Cesaro & Sheamus will drop the Raw Tag Team Titles soon, possibly to The Hardy Boyz (as they’re the top babyface tag team on Raw).

Another Raw Title that is expected to change hands soon is the Raw Women’s Championship. As seen on this week’s episode of Raw, “The Boss” Sasha Banks became the #1 contender for the Raw Women’s Championship and will face Alexa Bliss at Great Balls of Fire 2017 PPV.

However, Sasha isn’t the one who’s expected to win the Title. WWE booked Sasha to win this match in order to save Alexa Bliss vs. Nia Jax for the Title at SummerSlam 2017 and that’s where Nia is currently scheduled to win the Raw Women’s Championship.
