• Update On Charlotte Flair’s Status With WWE

Charlotte Flair was written off WWE programming after suffering a kayfabe injury in a fight on RAW with Nia Jax last month. She has taken time off for an elective surgery.

We noted earlier that Flair confirmed on Twitter that the recovery time after her surgery will be longer than she expected. But the surgery will issue the problem on a long-term basis.

Flair is also working to be a part of a Reality TV show, but there’s no word on how far she’s gotten in finalizing the deal yet. The TV show, along with her surgery, are the main factors in Flair’s return timetable.

The Wrestling Observer noted that there’s no particular timetable for Flair’s return to the ring. WWE officials wanted her back by SummerSlam for a RAW Women’s Championship match against Asuka, but that looks very unlikely under the current situation.

Her return date will be kept a secret, but it’s possible that she’ll be out of action until Survivor Series 2020 at least. Some reports even state that she won’t be back until next year’s Royal Rumble.
