• The Rock Reveals Why Him & John Cena Received A Lot Of THANK YOUs From WWE Wrestlers At WrestleMania 29

During a recent interview with Los Angeles Lakers Genius Talks, Old School WWF Legend The Rock talked about his WrestleMania 29 match with John Cena, getting injured in that match, his matches with “Stone Cold” Steve Austin & more.

Below are the highlights:

On getting injured during his match with John Cena at WrestleMania 29:

“At the 15 minute mark, ‘bang!’ I feel something pop and I’m like ‘What the f*ck?’ I’m laying there and both of us are out. I said ‘Oh f*ck, something is going on.’ 85,000 people and I sort of roll over and stick my hand down in my trunks because I wanted to make sure no bone was sticking out.

Final move of the match, it’s his big finishing move and I remember, I’m getting up and I’m turning and he’s going to hit me with his big finisher. It’s like a massive suplex where I go over his head and he slams me down. I feel ‘boom!’ and I don’t know what just happened. Luckily the match is over, 1-2-3. Get to the back, can’t move, now I’m getting a little nervous. Doctors come in, John comes in, ‘You okay?’ We like to celebrate with some booze, he brings moonshine, like legit moonshine. It’s some crazy white boy s*** that they bring in a jar.”

On getting a lot of THANK YOUs from WWE wrestlers at WrestleMania 29:

“In the world of wrestling, when you have a big show like this, a big main event that the entire show is based around. The wrestlers will come up to the two people in the main event, at some point, all throughout the night in the locker room and be like, ‘Hey, thank you for the house.’ What that means is thank you drawing – helping draw 85,000 people – and putting a lot of f***ing money in my paycheck. We got a lot of ‘Thank you for the houses’ that night.”

On him & “Stone Cold” Steve Austin wanting to break records:

“I think the matches I had with Steve Austin, they were really good. We just had a real special chemistry and any time we got in the ring it kind of created this magic and we broke a lot of records and PPV records. At that time WWE were still in a PPV model – they’re not now – but that was always cool because Steve and I had a goal, which was let’s sell out a stadium and let’s break a PPV record. He would push me and we would push each other every single night.”

• Vader’s Son Says Sting Was A Huge Blessing In The Last Year Of His Father’s Life

During a recent interview with TMZ, late Old School WCW Legend Vader’s son Jesse White sent a special thanks to WWE Hall of Famer Sting for helping his father during the last year or so.

Below is what Jesse said:

“Sting has been a huge blessing not only as of recent but probably I wanna say for the last ten months to a year in my father’s life as well as mine. I’ve been blessed and fortunate enough to witness that between the two of them as well as develop my relationship with Sting. You know my father was a God-fearing man and so is Sting so they would sit down and read The Bible together and go over The Bible, just talk about good time stories. So yeah, Sting’s been a huge blessing throughout this process.

It’s been overwhelming with how much love and support stories and cool pictures I’ve encountered and I came to the realization that I need to figure out a way to capture these and they’re coming from anywhere and everywhere. I put together an email specifically it’s vader.leonwhiteATgmail. I want any and all fans who have any unique photos, rare photos, stories they wanna type up anything they want to add please email there. Me and my family, we’re going to be going through them dissecting them.”
