• Vince McMahon Doesn’t Want To Do Roman Reigns vs. The Rock At WrestleMania 37, Reason Behind It

As we have noted before, Roman Reigns vs. The Rock won’t happen in 2021 at WrestleMania 37, and that is because of the issues created by COVID-19.

According to Wrestlingnewsco, a source told them that Vince McMahon doesn’t want to do the match next year as WrestleMania 37 is expected to be relocated to Florida and the show most likely will not have a lot of fans in attendance.

Here’s what the source said:

“Vince doesn’t know how many fans will be allowed to attend the show. He definitely wants fans there and we will probably have to implement social distancing but he would rather wait until WrestleMania 38 if Rock wants to do it but we can’t do the show in L.A. (at Staples Center) because of Covid.

Vince wanted to do the match in L.A. to capitalize off the extra mainstream media buzz that would come with that match. More media outlets would attend the show because of the location and Vince wants to get as many eyes on Roman as possible.”

• Old School WCW Veteran Would Have Celebrated His Birthday

Today would have been the 51st birthday of Old School WCW Veteran “Hail” Emory Hale, who passed away in 2006 at the young age of 36.

Some of you will certainly remember the 6-foot-9 wrestler from his WCW days, with Jimmy Hart as his manager, mostly wrestling on the weekly C-shows like WCW Saturday Night and WCW WorldWide.

Hale stayed with Ted Turner’s promotion from late 1998 till mid-2000 and later wrestled for Jimmy Hart’s very own Xcitement Wrestling Federation (XWF).

HAPPY BIRTHDAY & † R.I.P.
