• Vince McMahon Fires WWE Creative Team Member During Hall Of Fame 2019 Ceremony
According to PWInsider, WWE creative team member Robert Evans was fired during the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2019 ceremony for a Hall of Fame speech that he produced.
Evans produced a speech (which is rumored to be that of Bret Hart) that had Vince McMahon’s name mentioned in it and Vince has made it clear for many years that he doesn’t want his name to be mentioned or praised in any Hall of Fame speech. This point by Vince has become somewhat of a running joke backstage.
DX made fun of this point by mentioning Vince McMahon during their Hall of Fame speech and it’s possible that was done based on Vince’s reaction to his name being dropped earlier in the night that led to this backstage incident.
