• Vince McMahon’s Reaction To Botching The Stunner At WrestleMania 38

After Pat McAfee pinned Austin Theory on Night 2 of WrestleMania 38, Vince McMahon wasn’t happy.

This led to McMahon wrestling McAfee, which was his 1st match after 10 years and 1st WrestleMania match after 12 years.

McMahon defeated McAfee after interference from Theory.

Stone Cold Steve Austin came out after that and stunned everyone. The Stunners on Theory and McAfee were good, but Vince botched his.

WWE Hall Of Famer Mick Foley tweeted the following about it:

“Worst stunner ever?”

“I hope Mr McMahon didn’t get injured – it looked like his leg buckled before the stunner.”

His son recorded him laughing very hard to Vince’s botch. You can watch it below:

According to Fightful Select, Vince made the decision to wrestle a few months ago and the creative team told him it’s a terrible idea.

After the Stunner botch, Vince and the creative team had a lot of laughter backstage.

Vince recognized his Stunner sell was horrible, but said “as long as people were laughing and entertained, it’s OK.”
