On a recent episode of his weekly ‘The Hall of Fame’ podcast, 2x WWE Hall of Famer Booker T criticized fellow WCW Legend Sting for jumping from a ladder onto a table that was placed outside the ring, on last week’s episode of AEW Dynamite.

Here’s what Booker T had to say about the Stinger doing such a crazy high spot at the age of 64:

“What the hell was he thinking? This is something that I talk about all the time.

You know, older guys wanting to go out there and live that dream and get that pop and have that rush from back in the day of how I felt.

I don’t know, maybe this is the swan song. You know, I’m gonna go out and I’m gonna go out big and bold.

But for me, that wasn’t smart at all. It could have literally been a disaster for Sting.

The Seth Rollins thing definitely put Sting in a position where doing stuff like that is just not smart at all and I don’t want to see Sting get hurt doing something that these young kids are pulling off these days.

That’s just my opinion.”

In another crazy high spot, Sting was put on a table outside the ring by Chris Jericho and Sammy Guevara did a 630-splash on the Legend and they broke the table together.

According to The Wrestling Observer, Sting was supposed to move out of the way and Sammy would’ve hit an empty table, but for whatever reason Sting stayed there and took the move, but still had to recover quicker than such a big bump would usually let him, in order to continue with the rest of the match, as planned.
