• Who Paid For WWE’s SuperBowl 2022 Commercial?
A 15-second ad for WWE’s WrestleMania 38 season aired during the first-half of the SuperBowl last night.
Peacock reportedly paid for this ad, because the ad was about “WrestleMania Season on Peacock”.

Stephanie McMahon tweeted the following about this ad:
“So cool to see #WrestleManiaSeason run through during #SBLVI! What a game so far and the halftime show was 🔥! 48 days left to go before #WM38 at @ATTStadium and getting a sneak peak for #WM39 next year at @SoFiStadium! Everything looks incredible!”
WrestleMania 38 will be a 2-night event on April 2 & 3, and the following two matches (which will be the main events of the two nights) have been announced so far:
– Universal Championship Match: Roman Reigns (c) vs. Brock Lesnar
– SmackDown Women’s Championship Match: Charlotte Flair (c) vs. Ronda Rousey
During an appearance on Super Bowl’s Radio Row, RAW Superstar Seth Rollins teased getting added to the Reigns vs. Lesnar match at WrestleMania 38.
Below is what he said:
“I made my presence known in a Brock/Roman match once before at WrestleMania so who’s to say I couldn’t do it again. But who knows? We are roughly 7 or 8 weeks out from WrestleMania at this point now and so, anything can happen between now and then.”
Rollins defeated Reigns via DQ at the Royal Rumble 2022 premium live event. Reigns destroyed Rollins after the match.
