9. Vince McMahon & Triple H Have Conflicting Ideas For WrestleMania 36 Match Outcome
As seen on RAW, NXT Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley challenged Charlotte Flair to a match for her Title at WrestleMania 36.
Charlotte is scheduled to appear this Sunday at NXT TakeOver: Portland to proceed her storyline with Ripley.
This match is obviously scheduled to take place at WrestleMania 36, but Vince McMahon & Triple H have conflicting ideas regarding the outcome of this match.
According to Slice Wrestling, Triple H wants to keep Ripley protected in this program and wants to get her booked to defeat Charlotte at the Show of Shows, because he believes Ripley is the future of Women’s Wrestling in WWE.
On the other hand, Vince is keen on making Charlotte break Ric Flair’s record of 16 World Title wins and wants Charlotte to beat Ripley to capture yet another Women’s Title (they don’t count NXT Titles as World Titles yet, but it looks like that’s going to change soon).
Also, Vince is open to sending Charlotte to NXT full-time if she captures the NXT Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 36.
