‘The Celtic Warrior’ Sheamus battled Jeff Hardy in the first round of the Intercontinental Championship tournament last week, where he lost to Hardy.
He is a very big suspect in Elias’ accident, as it benefitted him the most. Not only was Elias taken out of the tournament, but Hardy was blamed for the incident and arrested by the police.
As Sheamus has an ongoing feud with Hardy, it would make sense that he framed him for the incident.
In addition, he got another chance in the tournament by winning tonight’s Battle Royal and facing Daniel Bryan.
Hardy coming out during this match and costing Sheamus the match also gives a hint that Hardy knows what happened.
