• Wrestling Operations Could Resume In Georgia This Week

The Governor of the state of Georgia, Brian Kemp, announced on Monday afternoon in a news conference that several businesses such as gyms, body art studios, bowling alleys, massage therapy studios, hair salons, barber shops, nail salons, some restaurants, some movie theaters and other similar businesses will be allowed to open beginning this Friday.

Social distancing measures would still be strictly enforced with these businesses.

“In the same way that we carefully closed businesses and urged operations to end to mitigate the virus’ spread, today we’re announcing plans to incrementally and safely reopen sectors of our economy,” Kemp said.

It isn’t clear whether pro-wrestling events will be allowed under the sporting events category, but the Wrestling Observer suggests that AEW might start taping more content in the states of Georgia and Florida.

If the events are allowed, then we can also expect WWE to tape some content there.
