As seen at last night’s TLC 2018 PPV, Daniel Bryan managed to pin AJ Styles to retain the WWE Championship.

Prior to his match at TLC 2018, the “New” Daniel Bryan appeared on WWE Now and his new heel character teased to changed to the WWE Championship belt so that it suits his character.

Below is what Bryan said:

“This leather strap (WWE Championship belt) was made from a skinned cow that I like to name Daisy and I’m going to replace it with something sustainable, something better. The New Daniel Bryan is going to create something that these people don’t deserve any part of.”
