• Old School WWF Veteran Celebrates His Birthday

Old School WWF Veteran Zeus (Tom “Tiny” Lister Jr.) celebrates his 61st birthday.

Zeus was originally the monster heel Villain in the 1989 movie No Holds Barred, where he played Hulk Hogan’s main opponent.

No Holds Barred was the first ever movie produced by Vince McMahon and the World Wrestling Federation and the idea was to bring Zeus into the WWF with the storyline behind it being, that he is pissed after having to lose to Hogan in the movie.

Zeus main evented the SummerSlam 1989 PPV and the ‘No Holds Barred – The Match, The Movie’ PPV, but also wrestled in an elimination match during the 1989 Survivor Series PPV.

Almost 7 years after his WWF stint, he joined Ted Turner’s World Championship Wrestling, where he wrestled as Z-Gangsta in the main event of the Uncensored 1996 pay-per-view.

He isn’t in the celebrity wing of the WWE Hall of Fame yet, but that might very well happen at some point in the future.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ZEUS!
