• Old School Tag Team Veteran Would Have Celebrated His Birthday

Today would have been the 59th birthday of Old School Tag Team Wrestling Veteran Tommy Rogers (Real name: Thomas Couch).

For most of Tommy Rogers’ Professional Wrestling career, he teamed up with Bobby Fulton as “The Fantastics”.

They were a famous Tag Team during the 80s & 90s and wrestled for various territories such as World Class Championship Wrestling, Jim Crockett Promotions & Mid-South Wrestling (UWF) and many more.

Later on during the Monday Night Wars, Rogers also had a few stints as a singles wrestler in the WWF, WCW and ECW, but was mainly used as an enhancement talent.

• WWE Holding Back On Major Storyline Due To Absence Of Fans

WWE wanted to do a major angle during the post-WrestleMania 36 season, but they’ve held back on it due to the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic.

According to WrestleVotes, the storyline was similar to the storyline of Vince McMahon’s Limousine explosion, or the debut of Nexus on the main roster:

“I’ve been told there was a long major storyline that was to unfold over the span of weeks during the spring & summer, similar to the McMahon limo explosion or the Nexus invasion debut, that was put on hold due to no fans in attendance. Crowd reaction plays a major part.”

WWE wanted to see the crowd reaction for it, but it obviously isn’t possible for now. Hopefully, WWE continues with the plan when the fans are back in attendance.
