• WWE Might Be Saving Two Big Returns For 1000th Episode Of SmackDown

The historic 1000th episode of SmackDown will air on October 16 and expect a lot of surprises to take place on the show.

One of these surprises could be the return of former WWE Champion Rey Mysterio as a permanent member of the WWE main roster on the SmackDown Live brand.

According to the Dirty Sheets, Mysterio has signed with WWE and that’s why he was pulled from a recent indy show. Mysterio is expected to be a part of SmackDown Live and WWE could be saving his return for SmackDown 1000.

It should be noted that Mysterio signed an actual performers contract along with a 2K contract for WWE 2K19.

Another return that’ll take place on the 1000th episode of SmackDown is that of The Undertaker.

This will be The Undertaker’s second WWE TV (RAW, SmackDown) appearance of 2018. He appeared at RAW 25 earlier this year.

The following matches are also being advertised for SmackDown 1000:

WWE Championship Match: AJ Styles (c) vs. Samoa Joe

– Randy Orton vs. Jeff Hardy

– Daniel Bryan vs. The Miz

It should be noted that the above card is subject to change (in case a new champion is crowned or someone gets injured).
