WWE Might Face Issues At Next Saudi Arabia PPV

WWE Super ShowDown Saudi Arabia

• WWE VIDEO HISTORY (June 20, 2005) – WWE Monday Night RAW

On this day in 2005, World Wrestling Entertainment aired another LIVE episode of their weekly TV show ‘WWE Monday Night RAW’ LIVE on the USA Network.

This episode was broadcasted from the America West Arena in Phoenix, Arizona and featured matches, interviews & storyline segments on the road to the ‘WWE Vengeance 2005’ PPV.

Here’s the official card from that night:

– WWE Intercontinental Title: Carlito Carribean Cool vs. Shelton Benjamin

– Viscera vs. Simon Dean

– John Cena vs. Muhammed Hassan

– Batista vs. Kurt Angle

– Triple H & Kurt Angle vs. Batista & Shawn Michaels

• WWE Might Face Issues At Next Saudi Arabia PPV

Saudi Arabia officials prefer their WWE PPVs on Friday and that might be a problem next time as SmackDown will move to Friday nights when it moves to FOX later this year.

Below is what the Wrestling Observer noted regarding this:

“Right now for 11/1, the WWE has a listing for a FOX show from Newark, NJ and a show in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and King Saad University Stadium. So that would either mean split crews or they’d have to change the Saudi date.”

It won’t be surprising if WWE decides to have only the RAW roster work this show (as most WWE wrestlers don’t like to work Saudi Arabia PPVs anyway).

Also, the next Saudi Arabia PPV might feature women in action as well.
