• WWE Might Have Dropped Plans For A 2021 SmackDown Return

SmackDown’s Saviour, Seth Rollins, was written off WWE programming at Survivor Series last month, where he sacrificed himself for the blue brand by laying down to let Sheamus pin him in the 5-On-5 Elimination Tag Team match.

Rollins took time off to be with his fiancee, Becky Lynch, as she gave birth earlier this month.

WWE On FOX’s Twitter had announced last week that the former WWE Champion would be returning to SmackDown tomorrow night.

However, it seems like plans have changed for the return of Rollins.

The tweet from the account has now been deleted.

It stated the following:

“2021 on FOX kicks off with fireworks with the return of @WWERollins!

📺: #SmackDown Jan. 1, 2021″

In addition, the preview for SmackDown on WWE’s website doesn’t have the return of Rollins listed, so he probably won’t be returning tomorrow night, unless WWE wants to keep it a secret.

It should be noted that WWE never confirmed Rollins’ return on any of their social media platforms officially, and it was only posted on WWE On FOX’s Twitter account.
