3. Possible Reason Behind Roman Reigns Losing The WWE World Heavyweight Championship Clean
As we saw last night at Money In The Bank 2016, Roman Reigns lost the WWE World Heavyweight Championship to Seth Rollins fair & square.
Almost everyone was shocked to see Roman lose clean, but there’s a reason for it.
Dave Meltzer recently noted that Reigns lost the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at Money In The Bank 2016 as his Live Event numbers were drawing only a bit higher than Dean Ambrose’s Live Event numbers. However, that’s not the case.
Roman got suspended for failing his first WWE Wellness policy test and WWE officials knew about it prior to Money In The Bank 2016. That’s the reason behind Reigns dropping the Title.
It should be noted that WWE live event numbers have been on a decline ever since John Cena got injured, as he’s still the top drawing full time talent in the company. Also, it’s a known fact that no one in WWE is even close to drawing the same amount of numbers as Cena does.
