1. Will An Elimination Chamber Match Take Place At WWE Battleground 2016?
As we saw last night at Money In The Bank 2016, all members of The Shield were WWE World Heavyweight Champions in a matter of 2 minutes.
It’s evident that WWE wants to do a Triple Threat match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship with all the 3 members of the Shield. But word is that WWE might be saving that match for the main event of SummerSlam 2016.
Before SummerSlam 2016, there’s another PPV which takes place on July 24th (after the Brand Split) and it is WWE Battleground 2016.
WWE does at least 1 Elimination Chamber match every year. Last year WWE did two Chamber matches by announcing a special PPV “Elimination Chamber”. That PPV is not on this year’s list of WWE PPVs, so it looks like the Chamber match will take place at the originally scheduled PPVs and there’s speculation it might happen at WWE Battleground 2016.
Update: WWE didn’t save the Shield Triple Threat Match For SummerSlam 2016 and announced it for Battleground 2016, so it looks like the Elimination Chamber match might take place at a later date.
